Amazing how the new coolants sludge up the cooling system. This is my wife’s car. Coolant has been flushed every 30k although the poor thing has 335k miles on it. The way the heater core sits in the case, the sediment just settles in the bottom half and stops up from the bottom to the top. Always used Subaru coolant.
I’m still pleased with the car. Not too many will go 335k miles with no major repairs.

Another evaporator core bit the dust. Toyota did a fine job engineering this one.
