Sometimes fixing one problem means taking apart what feels like half the vehicle to get there!

This week, Rock and Jake were replacing an airbox tucked deep inside the engine bay. The repair required removing the engine just to reach the failed part.

It's a perfect example of why auto repair isn't always as simple as swapping a part. What looks like a small issue from the outside can involve hours of testing, disassembly, and expertise behind the scenes.

At Rock's, our goal is to help you understand what's needed, why it's needed, and give you a clear plan so there are no surprises.

❤️ It's hard to put into words how much we appreciate the friendships this industry has brought into our lives.

This week, Rock's license plate collection grew by two more thanks to our friends at Darin's Auto Repair in Great Bend, Kansas! Not only did they send us a couple of Kansas plates, but they also reminded us why we love being part of the automotive community.

People often think auto repair is just about fixing cars, but for us, it's really about people. Over the years, we've been blessed to build friendships with shop owners and technicians all across the country—folks who are always willing to share ideas, encouragement, and sometimes even a little piece of their hometown.

Every license plate on Rock's wall tells a story. Not just of a state we've collected, but of relationships built, lessons learned, and friends we're grateful to know.

To our friends at Darin's Auto Repair, thank you for thinking of us and helping grow the collection. We truly appreciate your kindness and friendship.

"I'm here for moral support..." 😄

When you marry a car guy, date nights sometimes turn into car shows. Weekend plans involve cruising events. The TV mysteriously finds its way to automotive shows. And "just going to look at it for a minute" is rarely just a minute.

After 23 years of marriage, I've learned that if Rock disappears, there's a pretty good chance he's under a hood, under a car, or talking about a car. 🚗❤️

Truth be told, I wouldn't have it any other way.

His passion for cars is the same passion he brings to helping our clients every day. It's what built Rock's Tire & Auto and what keeps him excited to solve problems, teach others, and serve our community.

So while he's inspecting the engine, I'll be right here... providing critical moral support from a safe distance. 😆
