When you think you had your car "diagnosed" because someone read the codes... there is so much more that goes into finding the correct problem...
This vehicle came in on a tow because it went into limp mode and then would not crank or do anything. It presented with these codes..
P00C7 Intake Air Pressure Measurement System ­ Multiple Sensors Not Plausible
(Symptom 00) ­ Current DTC, Test Failed Since DTC Clear, Test Not Passed
Since Power Up.
P0192 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Symptom 00) ­ Current DTC,
Test Failed Since DTC Clear, History DTC, Test Not Passed Since Power Up,
Warning Indicator Requested.
P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Performance (Symptom 00) ­ Current DTC, Test
Failed Since DTC Clear, Test Not Passed Since Power Up.
P0532 Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
(Symptom 00) ­ Test Failed Since DTC Clear, History DTC.
P0641 5V Reference 1 Circuit (Symptom 00) ­ Current DTC, Test Failed Since DTC
Clear, History DTC, Test Not Passed Since Power Up, Warning Indicator
Requested.
P2227 Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Performance (Symptom 00) ­ Current
DTC, Test Failed Since DTC Clear, History DTC, Current DTC Since Power
Up, Warning Indicator Requested.
P2228 Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Symptom 00) ­ Test
Failed Since DTC Clear, History DTC, Warning Indicator Requested.
P2230 Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Circuit Erratic (Symptom 00) ­ Current
DTC, Test Failed Since DTC Clear, History DTC, Test Not Passed Since
Power Up, Current DTC Since Power Up, Warning Indicator Requested.
Upon proper diagnostic that includes looking at TSBs from the manufacturer (technical service Bullitins) I was able to locate a corrosion incident that was causing an intermittent short on the 5 volt power supply that was causing all these codes...
I want everyone to know there is a LARGE difference between a code read and proper diagnostics....
So please stop trying to get shops to properly diagnose your vehicle for free... Time is money.... and it is well worth spending the money for proper diagnostics instead of just shoving parts at a car... I know at least this vehicle owner will be happy to have this solved..

There is a stop sign in front of our building.... some people think they are above those laws.... like this gentleman.... almost struck our truck coming off the stop sign...

This vehicle came in with complaints of an oil leak - a gas leak and a brake pedal that falls away. During the pre repair inspection this is what was found.

Customer States.... Vibration when above 40.

This is another case of how well does your oil change place take care of and look at your vehicle. This could have been very very dangerous having suspension components break at speed and could have caused a crash. Customer had both of the rear lateral links replaced to avoid the same problem happening on the opposite side given the amount of rust present.

How well is your oil change person looking after your car????? are they telling you about the rust that is appearing?

Customer states vehicle quit while driving - diagnosed a bad alternator.. the alternator takes approximately 8 hours to replace on this vehicle.... Would you put the almost $2000 into this repair with the body in this condition? Customer was shown this video and opted to spend their money in finding a newer better vehicle.

Yes the roads are covered..... yes you should stay put, the roads are slick and hills are becoming impassable.... it is good tires and full coverage insurance kind of day.... I don't think the plow trucks are out yet by the sounds of it.... be careful folks

Why do we require proof of insurance and worker's compensation insurance before you enter our lot??? This is a perfect example. Equipment breaks... Noone can predict that...
