The Squirrels are saying it, the birds are too! Even the wooly bear caterpillars are....now Direct Weather is too!

❄️👀 DIRECT WEATHER’S WINTER 2026–2027 OUTLOOK!

Here’s a look at Direct Weather’s updated overall winter forecast. This is THEIR outlook, shared for discussion—not SnowbirdBob’s forecast.

What stands out? A “Winter Battle-zone” stretching from the Southern Plains across parts of the South, with possible Arctic blasts farther north and a very stormy pattern near the Gulf Coast. They also highlight potential big snowstorms along parts of the East Coast.

For us in the South, the question is always timing: Will the cold air arrive while the moisture is here? That can make all the difference between cold rain, snow, and ice! 🌧️❄️🧊

Remember, this is a broad seasonal outlook. It doesn’t mean every shaded area gets snow or stays cold all winter.

Are you hoping for a snowy winter, or would you rather skip it? Tell me your state below! 👇
