This week we have had multiple vehicles come through with the dreaded lifter tick. This 2019 Suburban was by far the worst and it has now damaged the camshaft. These vehicles are notorious for this problem due to the DOD system If you start hearing a tick get it checked out immediately, it can save you thousands of dollars.

Also, research your vehicles for known issues before you purchase them. Every manufacturer has their issues, some are just worse than others. We will be doing a cam upgrade and hopefully prevent this customer from experiencing this issue again in the future.

Today a community came together. Amber Biggs called us to help, a single mom and her son lost their home. All they had was their vehicle, which wouldn’t start. She was quite a ways from our shop so I called Union Point Towing. I explained the situation, that we were going to repair the vehicle but we just needed to get it to the shop. Union Point put me on hold and came back and said they would take care of it. I was humbled at their willingness to help.

Our shop got her car running and a beautiful soul named Desiree took her and her son to get dinner. This is what community is about. I pray this woman knows she has many people cheering for her success and I hope the love she was shown today helps her get on the right path. I’m very proud of our team and I’m thankful for the amazing people that have been placed in our path

Fix It Up will be closed starting Thursday, June 4th, and we will reopen on Monday, June 8th. All messages will be returned once we are back in the office.

We got big news last night!! Our Hunter Alignment rack will be loaded on the truck Monday and delivered next week! We will make a post once everything is up and running. We are incredibly excited about this next step in growth!
