Our team of dedicated professionals bring a level of dedication and passion to each build, which only comes from truly loving what they do! Co-owner, Rodney Culp, has owned and worked with Volkswagens since he was 15 years old, and has become an industry leader in metalwork, panel replacement and rust repairs on air cooled VWs, in all their various models. Rodney can pretty much assemble a Beetle

with his eyes closed, and has worked on hundreds of VWs over the past 35 years. Rodney also does all of our paint, in-house. Co-owner, Cate Culp, has been sewing for over 40 years and been self-employed in the textiles industry for over 20 years. Her obsessive attention to detail, and creativity make every interior she creates a sight to behold. Cate is also our chief designer on all high end builds, and is tasked with making sure every element of your Volkswagen rebuild/restoration is seamlessly cohesive from bumper to bumper. MetalMorphosis Customs is now transitioning to just building cars for sale, and we are no longer taking on any client cars. To see what we are working on currently, please follow us on social media.

A 1966 VW Beetle that has been completely rebuilt from the ground up with brand new, 1776cc engine, new freeway flyer transmission, stunning tri-stage pearl paint job, full custom leather interior with extensive embroidery and floral headliner, rose gold chrome elements AND air-conditioning.

Custom fender beading to match your car's paint is super easy to make - and it looks pretty darn cool, too. Worst case scenario, it fades or cracks and you replace it in a few years. But every one I've done so far has lasted really well.
