Couple of old gas stations along Route 66 in Dwight and Odell. So cool to see all the old tools, gas pumps and oil cans. Literally a step back in time where you can only imagine what life was really like back in the day.

How about some Route 66 in my 66 Nova. This is a few pics of on of the most epic trips I’ve ever been on. They were captured outside the Old Joliet Prison and the nearby area. It’s like a step back in time. More to come soon.

My wife got a chance to drive my 66 Nova for the first time since I bought it almost 8 years ago. She was proud of herself, and truthfully I am too! Anyone else let their spouse or kids drive their classic?

Finally got it out for a ride. Went and got a tank of fuel for the first time. Other than some rattling it went pretty smooth. Already kinda wishing I had put in a manual transmission too 😂 Lots of fine tuning to do but happy to be rolling.

She’s pretty ugly but I like it. Just about ready for the road. Ready to test out this CPP suspension that I installed front and rear. Still some things to dial in but some of it can be done later. Should I do paint and body or leave as is?

Had the Chevy out at the 2025 Turkey Run at Daytona Speedway over the weekend. I’ve never seen it so filled with cars. We showed up Saturday around 10am and ended up on the backstretch going into turn 3 because the entire infield was filled in already. Weather was amazing and there was so much to see.

Finally getting some work done on this C10. Front suspension and wheels are on. Need to installs the steering box and linkage still but coming along. Hopefully will be able to get the rear installed by next weekend.

Power Tour was awesome this year. Had a ton of fun cruising in the Chevy. Total trip was 2599 miles door to door. I have too many pics to share but will get them posted little by little.

1000 miles in and we’ve made it to Indy for the start of Hot Rod Power Tour 2025. Had a nice drive up aside from some rain. Excited for what the week will bring!
