April Showers bring... two big events for us as we roll into Rounds 3 & 4 on the Sports Car Club of America Super Tour! First up VIRginia International Raceway then 3 short weeks later one of our favorites, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. Paul Newman said VIR was heaven on earth, but that's only because he never set foot at Hallett, we think!

Awesome weekend at Eagles Canyon Raceway with as many ups and downs as this beautiful track has! After some issues with Diane’s Miata she hopped into Kent’s Bspec Mazda2 and ran in HP, and brought home the win! Kent then hopped into the same car, and won Bspec! Everybody showed consistent and great improvement throughout the weekend and many big smiles under the tent. Off to Road Atlanta next week for more racecar fun with our racecar friends!

The calm before the storm... We got a taste of 2026 with our first 3 events of the year at Homestead, Sebring and Cresson. Now with a few weeks before the next Sports Car Club of America Majors event at Eagles Canyon Raceway February 21-22, we get ready for a busy rest of the year! Our Young Gun Ryan Kipke started off with some strong runs in Spec Miata at Homestead and nearly bringing home a Top-10 at Sebring finishing a close 11th in a very stout field in our trusty rental the Purple People Eater! Before heading off to Daytona for Mazda MX-5 Cup Justin Gravett took Purple out and ran top 4 all weekend among some very fast company, topping the time sheets in 2 of the sessions (3 of the top 4 drivers then competed at Daytona the next weekend!!) Ryan & Justin come from our local club track, and we have so much fun working with these fast young men! Thanks always to Mazda Motorsports, G-LOC Brakes, Tim at Hoosier Racing Tire, Smiley's Racing Products and Harris Hill Raceway!

Congrats to our very own Kent Carter on being the 2025 Southern Conference B-Spec Champion! We had some great weekends in 2025 and some miserable ones, but after firing the parts cannon at Mazzy, Kent swept the final race of the year in 2025 at MSRH bringing home 2 Divisional wins. Thanks to Brandon, Tyler and all the folks at Lifeline (even James)! Although I’m not sure how the hot sauce will taste in the coffee… I’ll try anything once.
