🎣 🚐 Before there are exaggerated fish stories, there is the drive.

The truck packed before sunrise. The boat hooked up and ready to go. Coffee in hand. A cooler full of snacks. Somebody checking the weather. Somebody else insisting the fish are definitely biting today.

Going fishing means different things to different people.

For the tournament fisherman, it is preparation, strategy, weather conditions, electronics, and finding every possible advantage. For the weekend angler, it is often about slowing down, escaping the daily grind, and spending a few peaceful hours on the water. For families, it is something else entirely. It is teaching kids how to cast, helping them untangle fishing line for the tenth time, celebrating fish that are barely bigger than the bait, and creating memories that somehow become more valuable every year.

At Custom Coach Creations, we have always believed that the vehicle should fit the adventure. Sometimes fishing is the whole reason for the build. We were promised technology would give us more free time.

Instead, most of us became available all the time.

The same tools that were supposed to simplify life quietly raised expectations. Faster replies. More productivity. More multitasking. More things to keep up with. Somewhere along the way, rest started feeling lazy and vacations started needing itineraries.

🚐 From bare chassis to adventure-ready — here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the “Rough Out” stage of our latest Custom Coach Creations Founder's Edition build!

We’re excited to share these progress photos of a stunning new coach being built on a 2026 RAM Promaster chassis. This one is designed for true off-grid freedom — running almost entirely on 12V power with over 1,300 amps of lithium onboard and a large inverter for those occasional 110V needs.

What is the Rough Out Stage?
This is one of the most important early phases in our custom build process (usually taking 1–2 weeks depending on the build’s complexity). It’s where we lay the foundation for comfort, quietness, and reliability:

• Step 1: Flooring goes in with soundproofing and insulation underneath
• Step 2: Precise cuts for windows, air conditioning, and roof vents
• Step 3: Windows, AC unit, and vents are installed and sealed
• Step 4: All wiring is carefully run for the electrical systems, lighting, entertainment, Starlink, 360° cameras, and more
• Step 5: Final soundproofing, insulation, and rough walls are installed

Once Rough Out is complete, we move straight into beautiful hand-crafted carpentry — where the magic really starts to take shape!

This Founder’s Edition is being built with maximum off-grid capability in mind: 12V air conditioning, vent fans, TVs, lighting, and all the comforts you’d expect in a luxury coach — while keeping you powered up and comfortable no matter where the road (or trail) takes you.

There is something about a Florida lake that changes people for a little while.

Maybe it is the stillness in the morning when the water looks like glass and fog rolls slowly across the shoreline. Maybe it is the sound of kids laughing from the dock, fishing poles hitting the water, or burgers cooking while somebody insists they “know exactly what they’re doing” with the grill despite visible evidence to the contrary. Maybe it is because lake life reminds people how good it feels to slow down and simply be together.

Lake days have their own rhythm. Coffee outside while the air is still cool. Boats easing across the water. Kids making instant friends at campgrounds. Wet towels hanging everywhere. Long afternoons swimming, fishing, tubing, paddling, or just sitting near the water listening to the breeze move through the trees. Then somehow, before you know it, everybody ends up gathered together at sunset talking, laughing, eating, and forgetting for a little while how loud everyday life can feel.

What you'll help build: Luxury Class B RVs, adventure vans, toy haulers, and specialty vehicles that deliver real freedom, comfort, and off-grid adventure to our customers. Every project is unique — "Built Your Way!"

Position Details:
• Full-time, on-site in DeLand, FL
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (consistent shop schedule)
• Pay: $20–$30 per hour based on experience + overtime eligible
