King shocks are built to be rebuilt. Do not throw them away.

Oil film around the shock body, a ride that feels looser than it used to, or 20,000 to 30,000 miles on the set depending on the manufacturer and how you use the truck. Any of those means the shocks are due, not done.

At ToyTec a King rebuild is a complete teardown, inspection of every internal, new seals and worn components, fresh shock oil, and a recharge to spec. A rebuild typically costs half the price of a new set and brings back the ride the shocks were built to deliver.

You already paid for good suspension. Maintain it. Drop the shocks off in Denver or ship them in.

Not in Colorado? Your shocks still get rebuilt by the shop that does it every day.

Finding someone local who properly services King, Fox, ICON, or ToyTec shocks is the hard part. The mail-in rebuild skips that search. Pull the shocks, box them up, and ship them to Denver.

On arrival they get a full teardown and inspection, new seals and wear components, fresh oil, and a recharge to spec, then they ship back to you promptly. Standard rebuilds run $160 to $270 per shock depending on brand and size.

Call or email the shop for shipping, they send the materials, and the rebuild department takes it from there.
