Don't jump the gun!!!
Yesterday Trump announced an executive order to defer Federal Excise Taxes on diesel through the end of the year. He specifically penned "Dyed Diesel" which has created a lot of confusion. Dyed Diesel does not include federal nor STATE taxes.... Kansas has not deferred state taxes on diesel. We don't know the answers yet on the proper direction and advisement of the executive order. I just want to caution folks who think they can immediately begin using Dyed Diesel in their vehicles. Technically that would not be the case since Kansas currently requires the collection and submission of excise taxes.
As soon as we have more detailed information we'll provide that to everyone.
