We'd like to address a concern that recently came up....
Yes, we will always charge a fee for a service.

No professional service is free, and diagnosing a vehicle is a service.
We don't simply plug in a scanner and magically have the answer. It takes years of training, experience, specialized equipment, testing procedures, and time to accurately identify what's causing a problem.

An unknown repair starts with a diagnosis. Without it, you're just replacing parts and hoping for the best, and that's not how we like to do business.

We understand that no one enjoys paying for diagnostics, just like no one enjoys paying for an office visit to a doctor or a consultation with an attorney. But the knowledge, expertise, and time required to find the problem have value, regardless of whether repairs are completed or not.

We're committed to being honest, transparent, and upfront before any work is performed. We believe that's the right way to do business.

People ask us all the time, "How can you charge less than the dealership or the big corporate repair shops?" ❓❓

The answer is actually pretty simple...

When you walk into our shop, you're not paying for a huge showroom, expensive advertising campaigns, or corporate offices; you're paying for honest repairs, experienced technicians, and people who genuinely care about getting you safely back on the road.

We're a small business. We know many of our customers by name. We remember your vehicles, celebrate your milestones, and appreciate every person who trusts us with their family's transportation.

Our goal has never been to sell you something you don't need. It's to fix your vehicle correctly, charge a fair price, and earn your trust so you'll feel comfortable coming back and telling your friends and family about us.

Can dealerships and big chains do good work? Absolutely! They simply have a lot more overhead to cover than we do. We choose to keep things simple, treat people the way we'd want our own families treated, and pass those savings along whenever we can.

Auto repair shops need your VIN to access exact factory specs. This ensures they order the correct replacement parts, find vehicle-specific service bulletins, and provide accurate repair quotes without guessing.

The VIN acts as a unique digital fingerprint for your vehicle. When a technician decodes it, they can instantly see the exact engine type, transmission, drivetrain, and trim level. Even within the same make and model, two vehicles can require completely different parts and labor times depending on how they were built at the factory.

Providing your VIN is a standard, safe practice.
The 17-digit code is visible on the driver-side dashboard, door jamb, or windshield.
