Only a few days left to enter the Veteran Car Giveaway! Veterans and families of veterans can pick up and drop off applications at VFW Post 4031 through October 31, 2026.

We'll announce the recipient at the Veterans Benefit Breakfast on Sunday, November 15 at 9:00 AM at VFW Post 4031, alongside our partners at the Veterans Relief Program. It's a morning for good food, good company, and celebrating the veterans and military families who are part of our community.

The breakfast is open to the public, so come out, grab a plate, and help us show our support. Entrants must be present to win.

Proud to be part of this community since 1952.

ATTENTION!!! All veterans today at LaPlata County fair grounds. We are doing free check engine diagnostics for any Veteran or active military from now until 1pm. There are also many other resources here for Veterans and their families to connect with.

Meet Micah. Dedicated mechanic and a long way from home — he came to Durango all the way from Hawaii and has been a valuable addition to the team this past summer.

That's who's under the hood at Durango Auto — real people who care about the work they do!

We’re doing it again! For us, giving back to the people who served is part of the job, so we’ve teamed up with the Veterans Relief Program once more to give another car to a local veteran or veteran family.

Join us for the Veterans Benefit Breakfast on Sunday, November 15 at 9:00 AM at VFW Post 4031, where we’ll announce the recipient. Everyone is welcome at the breakfast. Entrants must be present to win.

Proud to be part of this community since 1952.
