WANTED: MAN SOUGHT IN CHILD SUPPORT CASE OUT OF STOKES COUNTY
Authorities in Stokes County are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a failure to appear in court.
The Stokes County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Order for Arrest for Jonathan David Peak, 41, whose date of birth is listed as September 5, 1984. The warrant stems from a civil child support case after Peak allegedly failed to appear in court as required.
Peak is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes.
His last known address was reported as 260 Patriot Place in Dobson, located in Surry County. Authorities also list a prior address of 107 Turner View Trail in Mount Airy.
Officials note that the warrant carries a designation of “No Extradition – North Carolina Only,” meaning he is only sought within the state.
