It’s come to our attention that a local BMW dealer has published some misleading information about Driven SD. Please take note that our normal prices are typically 20-30% less than the dealers normal prices. Some services/repairs (particularly big jobs) offer significantly more than that… sometimes we’re 60-70% less. BUT… they’ve got a program called “value service pricing” and certain years/models might get a special discount because corporate sells them parts at a crazy price to try to keep customers from going to independent shops. Unfortunately we can’t get them to sell us the parts for the prices they advertise (of course) but contrary to their advertising (thanks for noticing us guys… we’re flattered)… Driven SD will beat or match any special “value service pricing” so if in the rare occasion they gave you a quote and we happened to come in higher because of their “value service pricing” please know that we’ll match or beat that price too. One rare example of something we don’t bother to compete with is if they offer their oil change bundle packs (read the fine print on them btw). We actually like that they do that because some customers see value in that, and then they get the quote for the “upsells” and they call us to get better prices on those too. Oil changes are a money loser really, but they bring work in the door… if you do use them for their oil service bundles that’s cool with us, we’re happy to help beat the prices on any additional work needed. But yes… value service… if it applies to your car, we’ll match or beat it. That being said, if the dealer sees this, please just email me about our pricing if you want to know how we do our thing, happy to discuss professionally instead of you calling and requesting fake quotes and disrupting our work day. Dealer quote $$1,100…. Driven SD quote $373. We’re normally 20-30% less but sometimes (often) it’s significantly more. You work hard for your money… spend it wisely.
