This sailboat trailer is a perfect example of why choosing the right trailer shop matters.

Unfortunately, this customer went somewhere else because we were booked out at the time. What happened next is something we see far too often in this industry.

The other shop didn’t just fail to fix the trailer properly—they actually caused more damage to both the trailer and the boat.

Years ago, we installed a complete brake system on this trailer. Fast forward to today and we found lights zip-tied in place, grounds not even attached, raw steel fenders welded on and then spray painted with galvanizing paint because they didn’t stock actual galvanized parts. To make matters worse, the fenders were installed in a way that damaged the boat itself.

This may not be the flashiest trailer on the road, but that doesn’t mean the customer deserves to have their hard-earned money taken while being set up for future failures.

At Henry’s Trailers, we believe in doing it once and doing it right. If a repair isn’t going to solve the problem, we’re going to tell you. If there’s a better long-term solution, we’re going to recommend it. We treat your trailer, your boat, and your money as if they were our own.
