🚨 WAIT… THEY TOLD YOU THAT FLUID NEVER NEEDS TO BE CHANGED?!

That one word — “LIFETIME” — could end up costing you thousands.

Before you assume your vehicle is covered because the manufacturer calls the fluid “lifetime,” there’s one question worth asking:

Whose lifetime? The fluid’s? The warranty’s? Or the vehicle you’re hoping to drive for another 100,000 miles?

Here’s what we know from working on vehicles every day:

Fluids get hot. They collect contamination. Additives break down. Parts wear.

Calling something “lifetime” doesn’t change that.

At EC Auto, we’re not here to sell you maintenance just because we can. We’re here to help you keep your vehicle dependable, protect the money you’ve invested in it, and prevent expensive surprises whenever possible.

We’d much rather have a conversation about a couple-hundred-dollar fluid service today than a $5,000–$10,000 repair tomorrow.

And if we check it and you don’t need anything?

We’ll tell you that too.

Because at the end of the day, this is about your vehicle, your money, and your peace of mind.

If you’re not sure when your transmission, differential, or transfer case was last serviced, don’t guess. Let us help you know.

Come see us, get the answers you need, and leave knowing you have a plan to keep your vehicle safe, dependable, and on the road for the long haul.

That peace of mind is exactly why we’re here.

The lawsuit alleges, amongst other things, that BMW NA knew its front differentials would fail prematurely if the 'lifetime' fluid wasn't properly changed.

Your tires do a lot to keep you safe on the road, so don’t forget to check the tread! 🛞 A quick check can help you catch uneven or worn tread early. If it’s looking low, have a professional take a look. 🔧
