🏁 ARMOR TECH 350 SUPERMODIFIEDS RETURN TO STAR SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY FOR THE MARCO TURCOTTE MEMORIAL

It will be an action packed day of racing on Saturday, as Star Speedway hosts the STAR Antique Racers, along with five divisions of weekly racing. The Armor Tech 350 Supermodifieds will headline the program running the 40-lap Marco Turcotte Memorial race. Also on track will be the Bumpy's Slingshots, Crown Vics, Pro V8 Sportsman and MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks.

Saturday night's racing schedule will begin with pit gates opening up following early practice for those members using the PitPay app, and 3:45PM for others, with pit admission being $40+ fee for non members, and $30+ fee for members paying with PitPay app, and with all pit passes purchased in person being $40.

Grandstands will open up at 4:30PM, with admission being $17 for adults, $13 for Seniors and for ages 11-15, $10 Military (must have ID), and those 10 and under are free. Practice is set to begin at 4:15PM, with the first green flag set to wave at 6PM, heat racing will be on track first, features will follow.

This Saturday marks another big one for the Armor Tech Coatings 350 Supers - the Marco Turcotte Memorial race. 🙌

Over the course of the year, so many special events help pay respects to those who helped shape the foundation we live by today.

We hope to see YOU in the grandstands at 6PM when the first green flag drops. We will also have the Bumpy's Slingshots, Pro V8 Sportsman, Senior Tour Auto Racers, Crown Vics and MLM Pure Stocks on the track for action.

🏁 Event Lineup - Saturday, June 6 at Star Speedway 🏁

This week, we welcome the Senior Tour Auto Racers into town to join a packed night of local racing, headlined by the Armor Tech Coatings 350 Supers in their Marco Turcotte Memorial race.

🕰️ First green flag is set for 6PM. Any adjustments we may make to the schedule due to weather would be announced here on Facebook if needed.

Update - even though it is only Wed we are already watching the chance of showers / storms moving in later in the day on Saturday. As of right now the schedule is the same but we do have a plan in place to move the start time back to earlier in the day if needed.
Please keep checking the Star page and website as the week goes on for updates.
If we do move times back then early practice will take place from 9:15 til 11:45. We still have a few spots available, please message us if you would like one.

Remember, this week we head back to our summer timing, green flag at 6PM.

🏆 ANOTHER RACE NIGHT IS IN THE RECORD BOOKS, AS STAR SPEEDWAY PERSEVERES OVER MOTHER NATURE SATURDAY NIGHT

The weather was certainly a factor in the Epping area on Saturday, but the Star Speedway staff was up to the task, and another action packed night of racing is in the books. Saturday was double feature night for the Bumpy's Auto Slingshots, also on hand were the Outlaw Late Models, Six Shooters, Pure Stocks, and 603 Mini Cups.

The first of the feature events for this Slingshots saw Jacon Vaughn take control of the race, and drove his way to the feature win. Multiple-time Slingshot winner Gage Osborne bested the competition in the second main event, adding another trophy to his collection.

The overall Slingshot winner on the day, which went to the best average finisher, was last week's winner Cody Boucher. Dwight Souther Jr. also had himself a consistent day taking home second overall, with Gage Osborne rounding off the overall podium in third.

In Saturday's Outlaw Late Model main event, it was veteran driver Aaron Fellows taking down the win. Former division winner Bobby Melvin Jr. claimed the second position at features end, with multiple-division ace Adam Lovejoy next across the line finishing in third.

Kody Parker was declared the winner in the Six Shooter feature event after post-race tech. Second place went to veteran campaigner Ryan Nelson, with Mike Lafayette rounding off the podium with a third place effort.

The MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stock feature was won by former track champion George Riley Jr., who continued his strong start to the season. Sean Nadeau had a strong run finishing second, with Daryl Quinlan trailing him to the finish to claim third place.

Keith Chandler topped the competition in the Mini Cup main event Saturday night. Second position went to Kendall Whitehall, with David Piper rounding off the podium.

The week ahead - fingers crossed as it finally looks like we will have a Saturday with no weather issues. There is only racing on Saturday this week, the schedule was changed back in January but some still have Friday as a race date. This was due to the Dragway having the Nationals as well as working with Lee USA.

Practice this week will have rental time available Wed 1-4:30 and Friday 1:00 - 6:30. There is also the early Sat practice from 11:30-2:30.

Armor Tech 350 Supers are back this week for the annual Marco Turcotte Memorial.

Crown Vics - you will be having your own driver / owner meeting in the tower at 4 PM. Those that are not at meeting will not draw a chip and will start rear of heats.
