Did you know? In 1958, Jim Logue of Long Beach, California installed hydraulics in his custom 1954 Ford — known as the "Fab X" — getting the idea from the Citroën, which used hydraulics to raise the car for off-road driving. Logue reverse-engineered the system to make it go low instead, making it practical for street cruising creating the first documented lowrider with a hydraulic lift system!
