Hailey Hawes & Her Small Block Harts Turbo-Equipped Mustang
When Hailey made the decision to move away from her nitrous combination, it wasn’t because the car wasn’t capable, it was because she was looking for something more reliable and ready for the next level.
“My nitrous motor was good when it was good, but we had this underlying problem where my motor would blow up very randomly. It was time for something different.”
Before making the switch, Hawes personal best was 4.16. Just six months after moving to a Harts Turbo setup, she’s already lowered that to a 4.12 at US 131 in Martin, Michigan, with more left in the combination.
“The turbo is much smoother, and it just keeps pulling the entire way.”
For Hailey, the goal is simple: continue improving with every pass and stay consistent.
“We appreciate everything Harts has done for us with moving over into a new combo. They have really great trackside customer service when we have questions or need advice! We are super happy with our turbo!”
We’re proud to be part of Hailey’s program and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.
