A customer dropped off a 26 Lexus for a small Bumper repair. Lexus says 3 different Calibrations are required. Not recommended. Required. An additional 1150.00 cost. He says don't do it. It's fine. I told him for liability reasons we cannot ignore a safety item. He picked it up and is looking for a shop that will not do the Calibrations.
When you buy a vehicle remember Features are nice. They are also expensive to repair.

Allstate looking at FBPD cruiser:
We don’t think we owe for this damage since it happened during PIT maneuver.

Us: Maybe if your insured wasn’t DUI running from the Po Po then they wouldn’t have had to PIt him.

Life in a Body Shop….Stay tuned for updates.

We have had a customer's van here since 5/26. Allstate is the responsible party. Of course they wrote one of their sloppy photo estimates to start. We have been trying to get them to correct their paperwork now for over 3 weeks. Many phone calls and e mails and 2 visits from their "appraiser" and we still don't have what we need. They are not disagreeing on what we need. They just can't bring themselves to write it on paper. Oh and since they claim this is taking too long they cancelled our customer's rental. We save all records for our customer. I hope we can help but I have zero trust in allstate.

The system is broken and I can't fix it.

Good hands? I think not. Allstate thinks this van can be repaired correctly for 1300.00. The only way to write an estimate this bad is if you are trying not to cover the damage IMO. They will blame it on poor photos. They always do.

Don’t trust the people that owe you $ to decide how much they should pay. Choose a shop that works for You!

If you or someone you know is delivering food or people you may not be covered. They consider that commercial use and will still cover you but for more $. Don't wait too late to find out. We have seen it happen.

Just got a call from a tech looking for work. Thankfully we don't have any openings. He said he worked for one of the big chain shops. He wanted to work some where that quality matters. Choose a shop that works for you.
