We are excited to announce that YOUR Greenhills Firefighters are teaming up with the City of Forest Park Fire Department to build a state of the art fire training facility. This facility will allow both departments to train together, hone our skills and build relationships to better serve YOU!

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from the Forest Park Fire Department

We hope everyone has a fun, happy, and safe Independence Day with family and friends!

As you celebrate, please keep these safety tips in mind:
🎆 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
🪣 Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby if using legal fireworks.
👧 Never allow children to handle or ignite fireworks.
🔥 Never relight a malfunctioning firework.
🍔 Keep grills at least 10 feet away from your home, deck, and anything combustible.
💧 Stay hydrated and watch for signs of heat-related illness.
🚗 If you’re celebrating with alcohol, designate a sober driver or use a rideshare service.

Our firefighters and paramedics are on duty 24/7 to serve our community, but we hope you won’t need us today.

Dangerous heat is expected across much of Ohio over the next several days, with heat index values reaching levels that can quickly become hazardous.

High temperatures and humidity can quickly create heat-related illnesses; take extra precautions to protect yourself and those around you.

Stay ahead of the heat:
💧 Stay Hydrated.
🧊 Stay Cool.
👕 Wear lightweight clothing.
⏰ Limit outdoor activities.
