🏁 Racer Spotlight: #9 Scott Lang 🏁

Meet Scott Lang from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, racing in the Semi Pro Stock and Semi Pro Open classes.

Scott has only been racing Watercross for two seasons, but the dream started much earlier. As a kid, he attended the World Championship Watercross in Grantsburg and always dreamed of one day racing on the same pond. Today, he's living that childhood goal. When he's not competing, Scott also helps host the Crawfish Challenge Watercross race at River Bend Resort in Watertown, Wisconsin.

One of Scott's biggest accomplishments so far came during his rookie season when he finished 2nd overall in the Sport Open class. This year, he's focused on staying safe, having fun, and continuing to build on that success.

What keeps him coming back every weekend? The adrenaline of racing and the friendships he's made throughout the Watercross community.

For Scott, there's nothing better than returning to Grantsburg. After growing up cheering from the shoreline, getting to race in front of those same passionate fans is a full-circle moment.

Scott sends a huge thank you to the King Blunder Krew, his son Gage, his wife Chelsea, Jacob Krone, Nick Hagemann, Brandon Schleicher, and everyone who helps make race weekends possible. As Scott says, "It takes a village."

Very delayed update coming in hot…not only did we rush off to Wakefield and back, but once back we had a one day turn around to pack up and rush off to Lake of the Ozarks Youth World Series ⚾️ for that mullet you usually see running around our trailer helping out.
Sunday Lake at Wakefield for IWA Racing is one of the most beautiful venues to race at in our opinion.
The Punisher had a great Saturday heading into qualifying on Sunday, Sunday started off great, but with a down sled in a pre qualifier and races too close together #9 came out with two 9th place finishes in Semi Pro Stock AND Open. Thanks to generous guys who spared their minutes up at the line to help a fellow racer out, it is much appreciated and congrats to you all.
Our crew is killing it on the water and in the pits, couldn’t do it without extra support and help from all of you, proud to share all that wake with you 🌊 👍🏻
18 days to do some tweaks, Grantsburg or bust!

What a great weekend with IWA Racing at Brainerd International Raceway , Semi-Pro competition coming in hot this year!
Congrats to #9 still finishing strong at 9th and 12th spots on the board, after battling a splash and a broken shock shaft you still managed to push through Sunday with your name on the list!
