What's the most beautiful place you've ever taken your boat?

For me, it's hard to beat the Bahamas.

The water doesn't even look real some days. Endless shades of blue, miles of open water, and destinations that remind you why we all fell in love with boating in the first place.

That said, there are plenty of places that deserve to be in the conversation.

The Bahamas.
Lake of the Ozarks.
The Florida Keys.
The Great Lakes.
Lake Havasu.

Every boater has that one destination they'll never forget. The place where the water was perfect, the weather cooperated, and the memories lasted long after the trip was over.

Getting ready for the next Poker Run!

After months of rigging, fine-tuning, and countless hours in the shop, it was finally time to get back on the water and put the latest upgrades to the test.

The new 700s delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Every test run brings another opportunity to dial things in, build confidence, and make sure the boat is ready for the next event.

The work behind the scenes is what makes the days on the water so rewarding.

If I had $1 million to spend on a boat today, what would I buy?

Honestly, I'd probably surprise some people.

I wouldn't chase the biggest boat. I wouldn't chase the highest top speed either.

I'd look for a boat that checks three boxes:

Exceptional ride quality
Strong resale value
A platform I could actually use regularly

For me, that would put brands like Cigarette, MTI, Nor-Tech, and Mystic at the top of the conversation. Boats that can run hard offshore, turn heads at the dock, and still deliver the reliability and ownership experience that make you want to keep using them.

The truth is, the "best" boat isn't always the fastest or most expensive. It's the one that fits how you actually use it.

Now I'm curious...
