We’re not wasting any time.

When we submitted for the Hellman IMPACT grant, we weren’t sure if we would receive it, but we knew we wanted to be ready if we did. So for the past few months, we’ve been visiting dealerships, looking online, comparing options, and trying to find the best deals so this funding could go toward quality equipment that will truly help us serve well.

We were able to find a solid truck through Hilltop Truck in Fort Madison, a mower through Armstrong Tractor LLC in Donnellson, and the missing piece was a trailer, which is a whole story of its own. But we were able to find something even better than what we originally had in mind through P6 Equipment & Supply. Each business went above and beyond in generosity and gave us amazing deals.

Each of these businesses will be getting their own individual post over the next week, because we have nothing but great things to say about their customer service, their equipment, and the way they care about our community. Please go and "LIKE" their pages to show them some love on our behalf.

Lowe's Home Improvement in Burlington also gave us a great deal on some power tools, helping us stretch this funding even further.

We cannot wait to put this equipment to use serving seniors, veterans, and neighbors in our community who need an extra hand.
