For 25 years, this remarkable sanctuary has provided a safe, loving home for chimpanzees who deserve a second chance at life. Situated on 155 acres with 13 island habitats, the sanctuary allows these amazing animals the freedom to socialize, explore, and enjoy enriching daily activities in a natural environment.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of caregivers, veterinarians, and staff work tirelessly every day to ensure each chimpanzee receives the highest level of care, compassion, and respect. Their commitment makes a lasting difference in the lives of hundreds of animals.
As neighbors in the Fort Pierce community, we are honored to recognize an organization that has spent 25 years creating hope, healing, and a brighter future for these extraordinary chimpanzees.
