Anyone wanting to build FE Ford with new old stock 427 top-oiler, cross-bolt, screw in freeze plug, never machined bare block. Still in original cosmoline from Ford crate.
Complete FE engine can be machined & assembled to your need. Crank & rods & pistons can get expensive, depending on parts chosen.

Tremec Transmissions made the first Toploader back in 1964. The SROD was an overdrive 4 speed.

The Tremec 3550 is basically a 5 speed Toploader and nearly bulletproof for its applications. It can handle 350-400 hp easily and 400-500 lb/ft of torque.
