💜 Two Walks. Two Important Causes. One Community Coming Together. 💙

This weekend, the WLR Automotive Group team was proud to participate in two meaningful events supporting causes close to our hearts!

Our team joined the Out of the Darkness Walk at Baker Park in Frederick, supporting the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP), and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Maryland Zoo, benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.

Both events brought our communities together to raise awareness, honor loved ones, and support individuals and families impacted by su***de and Alzheimer’s disease.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside so many others who are making a difference. Every step was a reminder of the importance of showing up for one another and supporting the communities we call home. 💙💜

💗 Ladies’ Night for a Great Cause!

WLR was proud to sponsor Free Country 99.9 WFRE's Ladies’ Night at X-Golf! The evening was filled with great conversations, exciting raffle prizes, and plenty of laughter, all while bringing our community together for a meaningful cause.

Most importantly, the event helped support the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund and its mission to make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

An Evening of Hope 🎗️💜

Last week, WLR had the privilege of supporting the American Cancer Society’s 9th Annual Evening of Hope.

The evening brought our community together to honor those impacted by cancer, share powerful stories, and celebrate the strength and hope that continue to drive the fight forward.

Through patient support, transportation to treatment, education, resources, and lifesaving research, the American Cancer Society provides critical support to individuals and families throughout their cancer journey.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the evening so meaningful and proud to stand alongside our community in support of this important mission. 💜

Oktoberfest: Good Times for a Great Cause! 🍂🥨

WLR was proud to sponsor the 25th Annual Frederick’s Oktoberfest! Great weather, great crowds, and plenty of festive fun made for an incredible weekend in our community.
Led by the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, alongside fellow local Rotary clubs, Oktoberfest brings the spirit of “Service Above Self” to life by supporting local nonprofits and community projects.

The WLR team had a wonderful time at Centro Hispano de Frederick’s Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival along Carroll Creek. We enjoyed the music, dancing, delicious food, and most of all, connecting with so many people throughout our community!
