That little torn axle boot? It’s a much bigger problem than most people think.
When a CV axle boot tears, grease gets slung everywhere while dirt and water get inside the joint. Once the grease leaves, the metal parts start grinding against each other — leading to clicking noises, vibrations, and eventually complete axle failure.
What starts as a small rubber tear can turn into an expensive repair fast if ignored.
🚗 Signs to watch for:
• Grease splattered inside your wheel
• Clicking when turning
• Vibrations while driving
• Clunking during acceleration
Catching it early could mean replacing just the boot. Waiting too long usually means replacing the entire axle.
