Vintage Trailer Revival

This week Dodson Trailer Repair LLC had the opportunity to work on this classic Trail-Ette camper and help keep a piece of history on the road!

This project included:

•Axle service
• New roof vent installation
• New entry door latch
•New compartment door latch
• Cosmetic repairs approved by the customer

The biggest challenge wasn’t the repairs themselves—it was tracking down the original OEM door latches. Parts for these older campers aren’t sitting on a shelf at your local parts store. It takes time, research, and determination to locate the correct components and keep these vintage units as original as possible.

From servicing the wheel hubs to repairing hard-to-find hardware, we’re committed to doing the job right and helping our customers protect their investment.

My name is Catlyn Ward, owner of Elevate Equine. As a 3rd generation cowgirl, my whole life has revolved around the western industry, and I have always had a different type of love for the four legged animals that make the life I live possible.

Elevate Equine is excited to bring Electro-Acuscope and Electro-Myopulse Therapy to a broad area of Texas; covering large parts of both Central and West Texas starting in June, 2026.

⚡️ Another one for the books… this beautiful Sundance RV took a direct lightning strike from all this crazy weather we have been having. This unit has suffered major electrical damage throughout the unit. From converters and control boards to air conditioners and wiring. Lightning damage travels fast and affects multiple systems before you even realize it.

Dodson Trailer Repair LLC was called out to inspect the damage, diagnose the electrical failures, and begin the process of helping the customer get back on the road.
