๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ”‹ Teen Driving Tip of the Week! ๐Ÿ”‹๐Ÿš—

One of the topics we covered during our first Teen Driving Class was jump-starting a vehicle.

Hereโ€™s what I see in the shop all the time:

โŒ Cheap jumper cables often donโ€™t carry enough current to actually start the vehicle. They can waste time and make people think they have a more serious problem than just a dead battery.

โŒ Incorrectly connecting jumper cables on todayโ€™s vehicles can cause thousands of dollars in electrical damage.

Thatโ€™s why my recommendation is to keep a lithium-ion jump pack in your vehicle. Theyโ€™re compact, easy to use, and you donโ€™t have to rely on another vehicle or questionable jumper cables.

We had a great group and spent half the class in the classroom ๐Ÿ“š and the other half in the shop ๐Ÿ”ง for some hands-on learning.

I also owe everyone an apology ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ for not sending a reminder. I was a little worried we'd have more attendees than we could accommodate, but it turned out to be the perfect size for our first class!
