AND THE WINNER IS… SHARON MILLER TEATS! 🍬🎃

Congratulations, Sharon! You were only ONE POUND UNDER! 🙌 We had a whopping 58 pounds of candy and goodies to give away, and I bet we came home with less than 5 pounds! There had to be thousands of kids who came through! 🤯

Chris and I had such a great time seeing everyone who came out to Trunk or Treat! It was so nice seeing so many familiar faces and watching the kids have a blast.

I wish the weather was this beautiful every year! I hate to admit it, but Chris and I both got a little sunburned! ☀️😂 I guess that’s one way to wrap up a successful Trunk or Treat!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, participated in our guessing game, and made it such a great day! We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to do it again next year!

I spent part of this weekend painting pumpkins to look like pigs, and Farmer Chris’s barnyard is almost ready to go! 🚜🐖 I just finished packing all the candy and goodies into a bin, and now we want to see who can guess how much we have to give away!

to 2015, when Combs Automotive hosted the first-ever Family Service Day in New York!

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of hosting three Family Service Days, all with the goal of helping our community with their vehicles.

As we look ahead to 2027, we’re hoping to bring some fun and educational events back to our community! We have ideas brewing for Tiny Techs, a women-only automotive class, and, of course, our BIG 20th Anniversary Parking Lot Party in May! 🥳

We have lots of planning to do this winter, but we can’t wait to share what we have in store!

What a GREAT weekend of training!

A huge thank you to Brandon Steckler for making the trip to New York and spending the weekend with us at Thomas' Auto of NY! We had over a dozen automotive technicians come together for this event, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll keep saying it: The automotive industry should be working together, not against each other. When we share knowledge, invest in education, and support one another, we all get better.

One of the most inspiring parts of this weekend was seeing technicians as young as 17 years old in attendance. THAT is the future of our industry! These young technicians are going to help pave the way for the next generation, and seeing them take the initiative to learn and grow makes us excited about what’s ahead.

Training doesn’t mean you’re a bad technician. It doesn’t mean you don’t know what you’re doing. It means you’re willing to evolve with an industry that never stops changing. There is always something new to learn, and we truly wish more technicians and shops recognized the value of investing in continued education.

Brandon has a vision of making our area a hub for automotive training in New York, and we think that’s pretty incredible! Imagine if we could make this an annual event for local shops and continue bringing technicians together to learn, grow, and build relationships. How awesome would that be?

Thank you again to Brandon, Thomas’ Auto of NY for hosting us, and every technician and shop that supported this event. It takes people willing to step up and make things happen, and we’re proud to be a part of it.

Now it’s time for us to head off on vacation tomorrow! We’ll be back next Monday, refreshed and ready to go.

This weekend, we’re spending time with our friends at Thomas' Auto of NY at their new location in Comstock for a weekend of learning, collaboration, and professional growth!

We’re bringing together over a dozen automotive technicians for an incredible two-day training with the one and only Brandon Steckler. We’re excited to see local technicians investing in themselves, sharpening their skills, and coming together to learn from one another.

Our hope is that this is the first of many technician training opportunities right here in New York! Continuing education is so important in our industry, and creating opportunities like this helps strengthen the automotive community as a whole.

A huge thank-you to our friends at Thomas Automotive for welcoming us into their new location, to Brandon for making the trip to New York to share his knowledge, and to every technician who signed up and made the commitment to be here this weekend.

We’re proud to be part of an industry that never stops learning, and we’re looking forward to a great weekend!
