MYTHBUSTER MONDAY
Myth: It's California, so your RV doesn't need winterizing.
Fact: Our Sierra foothill nights drop below freezing starting in November, and water left in your lines, hoses, and traps can freeze, expand, and crack fittings. Before the cold sets in: drain your tanks and water heater, open the low-point drains, and run non-toxic RV antifreeze through the lines (or blow them out at 40 to 50 PSI), plus antifreeze in every drain trap.
Winterize before the freeze, campers.

Myth-Buster Monday: A bundle of firewood from home does not burn just as good. Tree-killing pests hitchhike inside firewood. Buy it where you burn it, or bring certified heat-treated wood. Keep our forests safe.
