Behind every busy day, every long night, every challenge, and every success is my wife. Sheā€™s not only my partner in life but also a big part of this business and the reason weā€™re able to keep pushing forward.

Vacation mode: ON! ā˜€ļøšŸ–ļø

The shop is quiet, the schedule is cleared, and itā€™s time to make some memories with the people who matter most. Weā€™ve spent countless hours grinding, building, and serving our customers, and now weā€™re taking a little time to recharge and enjoy some well-earned family time.

Black Label Tint will be back before you know it, but for now, weā€™re trading tint tools for sunshine, laughs, and adventures with Miss Teag.

Yesterday was chaos. We had 3 ceramics, 4 full tints, a few pairs of sides, Teagā€™s dance recital, and a planned power outage. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I made a mistake and told Shawn we had 4 ceramics instead of 3.

Did he complain? Nope.

He stayed late, got everything finished, and made sure the shop was ready for the next day.

I work hard, but Iā€™m human and mistakes happen. The difference is having the right people around you. With a teammate like Shawn, mistakes donā€™t become problemsā€”they become speed bumps.

I canā€™t thank him enough for everything he does. Thatā€™s not just an employee, thatā€™s family.

So let me tell you about Shawn.

I always thought I was a hard worker, but this dude runs circles around me. Today, I had to leave the shop around 2 PM to make it to Teagā€™s recital. We had 3 ceramic coatings on the scheduleā€¦ 4 if you count my mistake (Iā€™ll tell that story later šŸ˜…).

Instead of calling it a day, Shawn stayed until EVERYTHING was finished so I wouldnā€™t have to come back and deal with it tomorrow.

Thatā€™s what building a teamā€”more like a familyā€”is all about.

When you put the right people in your life, they donā€™t just help grow your business. They help grow your family, your culture, and your vision. They pick you up when you need it, step in when life happens, and take ownership like itā€™s their own.

Thereā€™s something special about being in the shop before the world wakes up. The coffee is hot, the tools are ready, and another day of opportunities is waiting. Weā€™re getting a head start so we can continue delivering the quality and service our customers have come to expect from Black Label Tint.

Out with the old, in with the new. šŸ”„

Today marks another step in our journey as we remove the last piece of our old identity, Professional Window Tinting, and replace it with Black Label Tint.

Weā€™re proud of where we started, grateful for everyone who supported us along the way, and excited for whatā€™s ahead. Same ownership, same values, same commitment to qualityā€”just a new name that better represents who we are and where weā€™re going.

What a day at Black Label Tint! šŸ’Ŗ

While Shawn was in the shop knocking out 2 ceramic coatings, I was out tackling a commercial tinting job, then back to the shop for a full vehicle tint, and finished things off with some residential window film installation.

Days like this remind us how blessed we are to serve such a wide variety of customers. From protecting paint and keeping vehicles cool to helping businesses and homeowners improve comfort and efficiency, weā€™re grateful for every opportunity.

Now itā€™s time to clean up, catch our breath, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow!
