For all of our longtime local friends, unfortunately, the used tire shop had to go because our insurance company wouldn’t allow it anymore. I also really didn’t love the idea of a bunch of used tires stacked ceiling high right next door to where they are cooking tacos. It took several months to change the zoning from Heavy Industrial to Heavy Commercial so now El Cata tacos is no longer “grandfathered” and we can lease the other side of the building to pretty much anyone. So we chose a business that can provide a ton of up side for the community. We are all about improving the area and providing opportunities for small businesses that have a positive impact.

Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Salary Position

Ramsey Auto Center – Glendale, AZ

Ramsey Auto Center has proudly served Arizona drivers since 1977. We’re looking for an experienced automotive technician to join our team.

Experience is preferred, but your own professional tools are required. If you’ve invested in your toolbox, you’ve likely invested in your career—and that’s exactly the kind of technician we’re looking for.

What You’ll Do
• Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, A/C, cooling systems, engine performance, and drivability concerns
• Accurately diagnose problems instead of simply replacing parts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work as part of a professional team focused on quality repairs and customer satisfaction

Requirements
• Professional mechanic’s tools (required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Dependable, honest, and motivated
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
