Do you know the answer? As temperatures drop, you'll likely notice a change in how your vehicle and equipment operate and sound. This is because the oil gets thicker and the motor oil doesn't circulate adequately. This change can lead to dirt and particles settling and forming sludge. While this issue may not be a concern for most, it is worth consulting your owner's manual for manufacturer-approved grades to use during the winter months.
