Lots happening this week, and with the cooler weather, I couldn't be more excited!

👉Today we started a roof in Tres Rios.
👉Then we were off to a furnace that "was blowing smoke". 👀 Anyone have guesses as to why? Rats built nests in his vents, and those nests started smoking.
👉Off to Dublin for an AC replacement, which he wasn't supposed to be home, but this is where our tire went down. So he came home and we just kept working on all his stuff while getting the tire fixed. Found out he has extended warranty, so everything is getting fixed now 🤣

Gather around, its *Story time*
The guy in Dublin called another guy out before us, this guy told him his 2x4s in his roof were busted 👀 and he needed to call insurance. Yeah, nope. Thank God he called us for a second opinion, because his roof was just fine and now his AC and everything else is too!

It has been an absolute whirlwind of a week! We started two roofs, made tons of repairs, and we are working on an something new to offer our customers..…more to come as we polish up the product. We were also invited to do some seminars, really excited about that!

Let’s do a recap of the best jobs this week shall we?

👉Brand new Brinkley in Tres Rios needed a door adjusted, slide room fascia needed to be put back on (falling off already), and her electric dump valve won’t close all the way.
👉A water heater in Tres Rios became a new home to a mud dabber, even though he did not close the deal with the RV owner. That leads to absolute destruction of the wiring and control board! Got the eviction notice served, along with new wiring harness and board.
👉Replaced an air conditioner we only do once or twice a year – Coleman Mach 8 heat pump with condensation pump.
👉The 20 ft awning that, for some reason, wanted to try every bit of my patience and abilities.

What a weekend! 🎉

Friday was Tres Rios day again!

👉Started out by replacing that transfer switch and he propane regulator.
👉Moved on to a slide room that wouldn’t operate – it was stuck into position.
👉Took a look at a water heater not working properly.
👉Then off to make a list of issues on a motorhome that needs repaired. This couple have had two people work on this motorhome. One guy out of Mansfield took their money and their part, never to be heard from again🤕.
👉Then we diagnosed a bad gas valve on a water heater.
👉Cruised back out to LJT for a slide room not operating.

Saturday was a few LJT repairs and an amazing time - Peep the last photo of Larry Joe and us!

With the cooler weather and a little rain, a ridiculously busy week came with a change in RV repairs 🔧. After some crazy busy days let’s go over a few repairs this week:

👉Monday we met with an extended warranty inspector on a replacing a refrigerator, all was approved. This is standard when the amount exceeds five thousand. Dale and the inspectors have worked together so long that they make quick work of approvals.
👉We then installed a toilet
👉Replaced a toilet valve (toilets are trending)
👉Diagnosed an AC blowing hot for extended warranty.

Tuesday we basically took the day off to prepare and load in to LJT.

Yesterday was Tres Rios day!
👉Had a transfer switch burn up, then his propane regulator went out.
👉A P-trap was leaking, and the fridge wasn’t cooling correctly.
👉Then, an Ac wasn’t cooling properly.
👉A gentleman’s wires ripped out from an accidental drag of the rear end.

Today:
👉We did a new slide rack install on a super slide.
👉Then we were off to swap an AC shroud and install a separate thermostat just for a furnace.

Now we will are LJT for some rv repairs, amazing music, and good times.

LJT'ers!!

We are set up once again in the campground of LJT Melody Mountain Ranch for the Rhymes and Vines Festival. We fix your RV while you relax, drink b**r, and listen to the music. Since we stay on site, service calls are heavily discounted until Sunday so you don't have to break into your merch money. Give us a ring if your RV is keeping you from the T-Bird Bar or Shiner Bock Stage. 🎸

We are getting a lot of phone calls about leaks 💧 right now with all this liquid gold falling from the sky. 🌧

So lets go over a few things -

👉When calling us please know we can not fix a leak while its raining. If things are wet, nothing will stick. We can cover the area, but we can't seal, tape, etc. until its dry.
👉Please take a picture of where you see water puddling or dripping. It helps greatly when tracking down the problem.
👉Remember, water takes the path of least resistance, just because you see it in your bedroom, doesn't mean its coming from there.

**If you are in a new Brinkley, we already know where its coming from. They had an issue immediately out of the factory**

Received a call a little over a week ago to do a pre-purchase inspection at Cedar Creek Reservoir in Gun Barrel City. They couldn't find anyone decent priced, heck one of the guy wanted 1600 plus mileage 🤕. We were less than half that price and we never charge per the mile to come to you. Anyway, off we went today! This coach was NICE with only two little issues. I'm always envious of these lofts because I wish we had one in our motorhome!

Get an inspection folks, don't get stuck with thousands in repairs buying a new or used RV blindly.

Daily dose of RV repair coming in hot 🔥

👉Worked on a generator first thing
👉Went to a toilet not holding water in Homestead, he didn't like the toilet he has alao, so he has a new one on the way now!
👉Ac not performing correctly in Big Oak, the plenum had fallen out.
👉Reseal on a roof before the 7 inches of rain gets here Wed in Glen Rose.
👉Fridge not operating properly in Lake Granbury Rv Park, more on that one tomorrow.
👉Finished the day working on the roof we started yesterday by cutting wood to press to the Styrofoam where it was rotted.

Tomorrow is a light day because we will be catching dinner tomorrow morning! 🎣
