We usually aim to fix cars… on October 24th, we aimed at each other! 😂🎯

The Grand Pointe Automotive crew traded tools for paintball gear at CRU Paintball for some friendly competition and plenty of laughs. Nothing like a little paintball to find out which coworkers have been waiting for this opportunity! 👀🤣

Great memories with the Grand Pointe Automotive team! Thanks, CRU Paintball LLC, for a fun day!

What vehicle was transformed into Ecto-1 in Ghostbusters? 🚨👻

Answer: A 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor!

The iconic Ecto-1 started life as a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex, a vehicle originally built as a combination ambulance and hearse.

🚑➡️👻 From ambulance to Ghostbusters car!

The production team gave the Cadillac its famous white-and-red paint scheme, added emergency lights, sirens, and plenty of ghost-hunting equipment to create the unforgettable Ecto-1.

🎬 Fun fact: The car was intentionally made to look old, worn, and slightly creepyperfect for a team that spends its nights chasing ghosts!

🚗 Bonus: The Ecto-1 wasn't just a cool movie prop it became one of the most recognizable vehicles in movie history.

👻 THE HAUNTED CHECK ENGINE LIGHT 👻

It starts with one little light…
Then comes the strange noise.
Then the weird smell.
Then suddenly you're wondering if your car is possessed. 😳

Don't let a check-engine light become your Halloween horror story! 🎃

If your vehicle is trying to tell you something, we're here to help.

What’s the scariest noise your car has ever made? 👇😂

True or false: Your car’s turn signal makes noise because of a mechanical switch? 🚗🔊

Answer: Originally true, but most modern cars produce the clicking sound electronically!

Older vehicles used a mechanical flasher that physically switched the circuit on and off, creating the familiar **“click-click”** sound.

⚡ In most modern vehicles, the turn signals are controlled electronically, so there may not be a mechanical switch making that noise.

🔊 So why do you still hear the clicking?
Manufacturers intentionally create the sound often through a speaker or instrument cluster to let the driver know the turn signal is activated.

💡 Fun fact: That familiar clicking sound is now often just a simulated sound effect!
