🤍 Public Announcement 🤍
To everyone in Grand Marias who reached out with love and concern for Andrea, I would like to thank you all so very much.
I’m also very appreciative of the state police, how quickly they acted and how seriously they took the situation.
I am thankful for the effort the media made to get the information out that she was missing, but the public reporting misrepresents my wife and the circumstances terribly.
Andrea is going down a rough road with a close family member becoming suddenly very ill. She left to go assist with his care, and has been living there the last 2 weeks. She came home, finally, and it has taken a toll on her. She went out to get some air, clear her head and I didn’t know it at the time, but she planned to sleep in her car. I didn’t like the state of sadness and grief she was in, but she wanted to get away from everything for a day. I had no idea where she was going, she got out of cell range, then her cell died, and she was gone way longer than she was supposed to be. When she never came home and I couldn’t reach her after 18 hours, I called the police. About the 30 hour mark and about the time the report went public, Andrea made contact with us and we discovered she was in fact, thank God, alive and well. It was a rough couple nights worrying she had an accident.
I was worried she was turned around in the woods and all alone, and possibly hurt. Not that she was going to hurt herself like was dramatically implied publicly.
Thank you all for your love and prayers
