Jaguar Mark II

Jaguar Mark II 1960 Jaguar Mark II This is a 1960 Jaguar Mark II. I have owned it since 1977 when it was bought from the daughter of the original owner.

The engine is the 3.8 liter with a Borg Warner automatic transmission. It was originally purchased on May 17, 1960, in White Plains, New York, at Sholz Buick / Jaguar. This Jaguar is original and complete down to the Jaguar hand tools (that are still in the factory wrappings) and owner’s manual. Total miles are at 48,157. The car came to Michigan in the 70’s and has been stored in my garage since

1986. There appears to be some previous repair done around the jacking ports and at the back of the left side rear wing. The car has been repainted. The gas tank has been removed, cleaned and sealed inside and out. While I have not tried starting it, the engine turns over by hand with the spark plugs removed. When it was stored, the engine and transmission ran and shifted well, however, there was leakage from the transmission sump pan gasket. The brake calipers and master cylinder will need to be rebuilt. There are new uninstalled disks for the rear. The exhaust system will need to be replaced; however, the ceramic manifolds are in good condition. I have tried to include as many pictures as possible of the good and the needs repair. Please note the descriptions by the pictures.
