From Shots, Twisted Pistons Secretary:

Had our first scholarship run of the year this past weekend! It was a complete success despite the weather in Gallup only according us a small gathering of good people who were willing to support a worthy cause. On behalf of all my brothers and sisters of the Twisted Pistons, I offer a major thanks to those who came; a special thanks to the American Legion Post 60 for their donation.

Our next run is in Grants on Saturday, September 28. I will put the time and location here to keep you notified.

Went to Bike Day at the Capitol with Hoss, Stacy 'Lil Jo' Logan, and Kimberly Salisbury. Beautiful day, if a little cold, with a good turn out. Extremely emotional Salute to Fallen Bikers that definitely had me in tears. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost a loved one in 2012.

Bike Day at the Capitol is tomorrow! The ride to the Capitol is to start at Thunderbird Harley Davidson in Albuquerque with kickstands up at 10:00, then up to Santa Fe Harley Davidson for lunch at 11:30. Those who are able to attend this wonderful event meant to get the politicos in Santa Fe to realize we, the biker community, are out there and watching, and to commemorate our fallen brothers and sisters, are asked to meet at the Capitol by 1:00. Any who are able to make it are more than welcome! See you there!
