During this busy time of deer collision season I want to help people clear up a few things about insurance claims and repairs. First, you have the right to choose the repair shop you want the repairs to be made on your vehicle, despite what your insurance company may tell you. Some insurance companies will tell you that you have to use their authorized repair facilities and that is illegal. Steering people to any shop is illegal and protected under law. Those authorized shops are forced to use as many cheaper/used parts, or simply repair parts that should be replaced in order to save insurance companies money and fix your vehicle as cheaply as possible. These are the main reasons for the push. Second, we offer the same lifetime warranties as other shops do. We stand behind our work for as long as you own the vehicle. We have a full service collision center with downdraft booth, frame machine, and allignment machine to handle any and all problems incured after a collision. We work closely with all insurance companies to get the repairs made quickly and accurately. We would be happy to answer any questions regarding insurance or claims M-F 8-430 at 301-895-5870. Just wanted to take time to squash any rumors or misunderstandings about Hilltop Auto and the future of the business. A couple of customers asked if we were closing up. We are NOT closing and I am looking forward to a new generation of ownership to continue on with all of car repair services we currently offer. As of yet it has not sold, and it will not be sold until I am comfortable knowing that it is in good hands of people willing to continue on this business with integrity and honesty. I am going to stay on for a while after it’s sold to ensure this happens. Thank you
