Celebrating CTE Students of the Month!

During Homecoming week, we had the opportunity to celebrate the academic achievements and leadership of our CTE (Career and Technical Education) students! The following students were recognized as September Students of the Month for their outstanding academic performance and leadership:

From left to right:
Miranda Eckhardt (12th Grade) – Work-Based Learning Department
Azael Gonzalez-Garcia (12th Grade) – Viking Vault Department
Truly Hannah (12th Grade) – Business and Marketing Department
Ivan Lozoya-Navarrete (10th Grade) – Construction Department
Bryanna Vicente Cruz (11th Grade) – Agriculture Department

CTE provides students with hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to real-world careers and future opportunities. Through CTE, students develop valuable technical skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and career readiness skills that prepare them for college, apprenticeships, and the workforce. These programs help students discover their interests, explore career pathways, and build a strong foundation for success after high school.

These students are wonderful examples of what VHS is all about! We are proud of their accomplishments and the leadership they demonstrate in their programs. Congratulations to all five students!
