What does “ Advanced “ obedience look like?.. This would be an idea.. “ Thena “ has been with me for about 3 weeks with one more to go.

She’s a half pit/malinois cross & loves to work but has the typical impulse issues.

“ Nick I want my half beagle, half chi wee wee, half doodle to do what that dog did in your video”

Hold on Betty.. Every dog has an intellectual threshold.. Just because this dog can do it doesn’t mean the dog you got from the pound 3 days ago can..

Give me a super intelligent dog, I’ll do some magic.. Give me a less than intelligent dog, I’ll do the best I can..

Unlike some other trainers, I’m not gonna give you any guarantees just to get your money.. Life is hard.. Gas is high. food is high.. The least I can do is be honest with you but at the same time do a quality job working with your dog.

We will take these things Thena has worked on & start applying them in public areas in more distracting areas.

The following is a progress report from a client earlier this year:

“ Hey Nick. I want to update you and brag on Soldier a little. We are still n New Orleans for Monday night football. Today I took soldier on a three mile walk today down canal and bourbon streets. He maintained his mark the entire trip without reacting to the large crowds and noises at all. He even sat patiently at the door of a bar while I got him some water. To top it off he spent 5 hrs alone with no issues while we were at the game. You really did give us a good foundation. Thank you”

This is why we do what we do here at Disciple K9.. We want those clients who are willing to be involved and work with their dogs as they should.

Trainers simply set the baseline & pre-set your dog.. It’s up to you, the owner, to retain your dogs training or take it further.

The trainer only has the dog for a set number of weeks.. You have your dog the rest of its life.

This man that sent me this is very committed to his dog and it shows!
