This is what happens when you don’t use loctite on converter bolts. Just a friendly reminder to all the dodge guys, to avoid having to do this twice please use loctite on your converter bolts. Otherwise your bolts will back out and start making noise. If you catch it early enough you will save yourself money, as well as time having to pull the transmission out and do it all over again.

Not a good day for this 05 6.0 Powerstroke. Has been to a couple different shops chasing the same starting issue. What we found was, all 3 HPOP bolts were not tight, causing the oil inlet O-ring to the HPOP to split as well as crack the branch tube that supplies high pressure oil to the injectors. This engine will have to be removed to replace the branch tube, as well as all necessary O-rings and gaskets.

We got this 99 F350 ready to go on its road trip. A new set of ball joints, as well as a look over and it’s ready! This 14 6.7 received a full fuel system. Injectors, DCR conversion, as well as a Airdog 165 5G lift pump. We had to remove the cab due to 4 stuck injectors in the cylinder head. This is why it’s important to pay attention to what work quality you are providing. Both injectors are out of the same 6.7 Power-stroke. The one on the left was stuck in the cylinder head due to carbon buildup from either 2 reasons. Someone didn’t put the copper sealing washer on before they installed the injector or they simply did not get the injector hold down tight.
