Hey everybody, I wanted to jump on here real quick and clear up a rumor that’s been floating around on social media.
We’ve been getting a lot of calls asking if the Garmin GPSMAP 1222 will work with the new LiveScope 2 system—the LVS42 HD or the new LVS44.
While we were at ICAST, we asked Garmin directly so we could get the right answer. According to Garmin, the GPSMAP 1222 is not compatible with the new LiveScope 2 systems.
There’s been a lot of different information shared online, but we wanted to pass along what Garmin told us firsthand so nobody spends money expecting something to work that won’t.
