Sun Sports Unlimited Since 1978 we are your one-stop-shop for offroad motorsports parts, apparel and service. Morrill's racing career started here in 1970 on a Hodaka Ace 100.

Sun Sports Unlimited Incorporated was established at our current location in 1978. We are the oldest KTM dealership in Colorado, (32 years) and, have been a Yamaha dealer for over 30 years. Sun Sports has also carried Polaris since 1984, and, Kawasaki since 1990. Morrill Griffith and Debbie Stewart started Sun Sports and still own it today. Since then, he has competed in multiple ISDE's as well as

RMEC races in the AA class. Riding in the mountains of Colorado offers many unique challenges. Between the technical terrain, high elevation, and changing weather, our experience will help you enjoy every ride!

I know it’s been a slow snow year, but there’s still work to be done! We’ve been busy clearing trees on the crest and surrounding trails to get everything ready for you. Our crew was out yesterday shoveling snow on greens to make is passable —you're welcome! 😊
With excitement in the air, we’ve noticed some folks going off trail. We totally get the urge to ride, but let’s remember to tread lightly and protect our beautiful trails.

One of the best resources for current trail updates is the Bushducks page and website. Their volunteers work hard to provide timely information on trail openings, closures, obstacles, snow conditions, and more to help you plan a safe and enjoyable adventure.

Sharing from COHVCO

626 pieces legislation were introduced during the 2026 Session. COHVCO followed 9 pieces of legislation, and monitored the Long Bill (Budget/Appropriations) protect the OHV and Snowmobile Funds. The Funds avoided any discussion of being directed to other priorities. COHVCO monitored several ballot initiatives under development and were reviewed by Legislative Counsel Office. Several were concerning and were withdrawn. Others are under development. COHVCO will continue to monitor.
HB26-1008 was a major win for recreation as this allowed CPW to hire staff for the OHV/Snow grant programs and expanded CPW’s role in improving recreational access on federal lands. HB26-1274 included provisions that grandfathered all existing grant programs from the 25% cap on advances to grant recipients as a result of our efforts last session. This type of limit would have crushed the OHV/Snow grant programs where 100% advances are often necessary for clubs to buy equipment.
