Hey everyone just a reminder when doing a Timing service it’s always good to replace the lifters with oem units. In addition being that these cars are over 25 years old we recommend an oil pressure gauge from Aem. Doing both of these things will prevent what you see here. If you are not replacing the lifters, tensioners, cam chains and checking cam shafts you are doing it wrong. This car came in running as driving from over 50 miles away. Oil pump pick up screen was also clogged from various contaminants.

Last Monday a 2001 b5 s4 came here with a blown engine low come on multiple cylinders and all kinds of timing faults. Fast forward to today we put a refreshed stock long block in with our billet ko4 chra, new fuel pump, hardwired a proper 2.0t conversion in from ecu to coil and we have lift off. German Elite Tuning will be wrapping this one up later this week with Joshua Thomas built motor car
