Goodyear and Cooper tire rebates run through November 30. 🛞

Goodyear: up to $200 back on a set of 4 select Goodyear tires
Cooper: up to $140 back on a set of 4 select Cooper tires

The top amounts are with the Goodyear Credit Card, but you don’t need the card to get a rebate. With any form of payment, it’s up to $100 back on Goodyear and $70 back on Cooper. Rebates are paid by prepaid card.

2019 Ford Escape in the shop with a leaking water pump. We replaced the pump and put in a new timing belt kit. 🔧

On a lot of engines, the water pump sits behind the timing belt, so getting to one means taking apart the other. That’s why the two often get done together.

A leaking water pump usually shows up as coolant that keeps going low, a puddle under the front of the car, or a sweet smell after driving. If you’re noticing any of that, give us a call or shoot us a text and we’ll take a look before it turns into an overheating problem.

Big repairs don’t play favorites. This one is a family vehicle of ours, and it needed a replacement engine.

Pulling an engine means unhooking just about everything under the hood: wiring, hoses, cooling lines, and mounts. Then the old engine comes out and the new one goes in. That’s an empty engine bay in the second photo, and the replacement engine still in the crate in the third.

Engine trouble doesn’t always give much warning. When it does, it’s worth paying attention. A check engine light, new noises, an oil pressure warning, or a change in how it runs are all good reasons to get it looked at sooner rather than later. Michigan road salt did a number on this Jeep’s rear subframe. 🧂

The subframe is what the rear suspension mounts to. After enough winters of salt sitting on it, the metal rusted until it was flaking apart. You can see in the photo how bad it got. We replaced it with a new subframe and got it back on the road.

This isn’t just a Jeep thing. We see it on all kinds of vehicles around here, because everything in Michigan spends months driving on salted roads.

Salt season is on its way. Rinsing the underside of your vehicle through the winter helps. If you’re hearing clunks from the back end, or you just want someone to take a look underneath, give us a call or shoot us a text and we’ll get you on the schedule. 🔧
