Ok so no! This is not from Ol Blue!!! But this is a PSA for everyone lol! So… for all of those people that choose to buy a cheap cam kit from amazon or temu or even eBay… this is the chance you take… so all of this carnage was cause by a broken valve spring. This was not a car that we installed a cam kit on but it ended up with us to get it right! This was an Amazon cheap cam kit with springs and everything needed for a cam swap… which can be tempting! But the cheap spring broke with less the 5k miles on it and caused this customer to have to spend a lot of money on a complete new long block! So buy quality parts!

Well for the ones that don’t know, she is back out of the game for now… there’s a new window in the block now! From victory lane to back in her stall… that’s the life we live, butttt… anyone that knows me knows we never put it back like it was! So we will be excited to reveal the new setup! It’s gonna be a minute but we are down to 2 choices! We will show the carnage when we tear it down!!

Ok… so this is the best example yet to date of why a dyno is a tuning device! So after a couple of pulls and not seeing the numbers we expected we recorded the fuel pressure during the pull!! So as you can see it drops crazy low! So now knowing we need way more low side fuel to make the numbers we expected, we are gonna get a bigger pump in tank and do this again! So she only made 490 today… let’s see what she makes when we are done!!

So we got my favorite mustang back!! We installed a standalone trans cooler and he wanted to dyno it to see if we can turn it up! What do y’all think she will make?! I think im shooting for a hair over 600!

So this is a great Monday! Tore down a 2013 Grand Sport corvette in preparation for a SMP cam kit with a ProCharger and all the works, and discovered the carnage on the 5th Gen Camaro from the track day Saturday! We are slowly but surely bringing a few of our own builds to the table to compete with the locals and building a few really nice customers jobs at the same time! We got a few surprises in the works as well that just might become some National traveling competitors!

So ended up in the finals with one of my best friends for life, we both went in hard for sure! And unfortunately he busted an axle but we was both on each others ass! It was gonna be super close no doubt but we all had a good time!

Well we had another good time last night at Swamp Bottom Dragway! We might not have been the fastest street car/truck there but we stayed with it and got a little luck on the tree but we put Ol Blue in the winner’s circle and she earned herself a little payday last night! She is finally starting to come around but still a long way to go!
